| Bio: | I am of an obsessive disposition, and get altogether too enamored with fictional things. The purpose of this journal is mainly to document and analyze my opinion of said objects. I am primarily asexual, and an attempted-to-be-rational and prolific slash/yaoi fan. I'm a "pairing snob" or "OTPer" typically, it just comes with the obsessiveness. To put things simply, I support slash pairings more often than the usual thrown-together-canon relationships because females are represented horribly in media (it's hard to like them), and romance is pulled off even worse. I can't help it if the characters have more meaningful relationships with their best friends or other associates. It's idealism in a way, I feel like they should be involved with people for more significant reasons than them being attractive and marginally agreeable. Fancy words for fangirlish ranting I guess. I have a fairly extensive background with a love of video games(since I was four) and anime until up about last year. But it doesn't feel as if they are making them with my audience in mind, and I can't find much that meshes with me of late so I'm more on a scifi kick these days. I'm a book/scifi geek now. (though I still play FF11 casually, Xelos/Xelas on Garuda, RDM, WHM, BRD, WAR, DRK, Red mage is my super main, obsessive multitask whore...)
